Weather:
We are currently in the beginning of newleaf. The sun is warm, but not overly hot. The air is crisp and cool in the mornings, a little dry in the afternoons, and sweetly chilly in the evenings. Night are cool and comfortable, this high in the mountains, and the rivers and lakes are icy cold, even in the heat of the day.
Prey:
The prey is running well. Some species are just reawakening after the long leafbare, but the Clans are able to catch what they need and leave the rest to fatten, grow, and breed to feed the Clans more later as the seasons pass.

-- P U R i F i C A T i O N -- Stage 1:
Years after the Clans had become comfortable in their lives on the mountain, adjusting quickly to the new way of living, the new traditions and ceremonies and rules. Each Clan grew and prospered and grew strong, drawing their power from the Gems of their Tribe by living according to the values and virtues represented by each. For example, the EarthClan cats maintained their reliability and strength, upholding honor in their daily living. The FireClan cats made sure they knew what was truly important in life, and lived it to the fullest, never losing sight of their hope for the future. AirClan, never losing their pride in themselves and their Clan, kept the history and lore of the four Clans, passing them down to each generation, and always tried to learn more and more each day. The lapis-lazulli reminded them that sometimes life was unpredictable, and like the wind itself they needed to learn when to blow… and when to stay still and let something be. And finally, WaterClan upheld the virtues of truth, and not being blinded by lies, and worked to maintain their faith in themselves, the other Clans, HeartClan, and basically in life itself. This kept the magic of the gems strong and pure, and it guided the cats in their daily living.
This peace, however, did not last. A young apprentice from FireClan (apprentice#1) began receiving strange and cryptic dreams from her ancestors in HeartClan, who told her of an oncoming storm. (apprentice#1), afraid and troubled, tried to ask the FireClan medicine cat for advice but they could not interpret her dreams either, except to say that it must mean trouble ahead for the Clans. They were right. A week later, right before the Gathering, the cats discovered that seven of the eight gems had been stolen, leaving only the diamond in EarthClan’s camp, because the diamond was the only gem that protected itself from theft – not just strength, but also the gem of purity, it would lay a terrible curse on whoever dared to remove it from its place without permission, and death would come swiftly to the thief. The Clans were horrified and stunned, and the Gathering that night was one of great unrest...

EarthClan Main Camp (8 sub-boards) EarthClan's main camp is situated in the shelter of a piece of flat rock that sticks out from the mountain above their chosen den areas. However, beyond that they have not much in the way of a roof over their heads, or even walls to protect them from the elements. The dens are all in the open air, and the forest around them is scant, opening out to bare rock and sparse grass growths that barely cover the sandy ground. To most cats, it would not seem comfortable, but to these big, tough EarthClanners, it is home. Moderator: Jadee, of course! ♥
EarthClan Territory (5 sub-boards) This sprawling, sandy area is mostly devoid of trees and grass, but prey such as rabbits, hares, shrews and other various little mountain creatures can be found here. Whether hunting, patrolling or just out walking, cats must beware of danger from the sky, for they are not the only predators to know that prey is abundant in this area, and here where the trees are scarce, the prey has little-to-no protection to attacks from above.... the trouble is, neither do the cats. Also, on the territory lies the hidden place where the Clan's great treasure lies - the two gems gifted to EarthClan by HeartClan and the mountain itself. Moderator: Jadee, of course! ♥

EarthClan Borders (3 sub-boards) EarthClan territory is bordered by FireClan territory to the east, and WaterClan territory on the other side. Above them, is the border to the neutral land at the peak, where they go for Gatherings each moon. Moderator: Jadee, of course! ♥
FireClan Main Camp (9 sub-boards) The FireClan camp lies deep in a cave that is lost in the thick woods that dominate most of their territory. This cave makes their camp almost impenetrable, and the FireClan cats guard their only weak point very well - the entrance of the cave. The woods beyond are over-run with woodland prey like mice, squirrels, shrews, voles and small birds, and the Clan has two rivers to choose from - a small one near the EarthClan border, and a larger one that is closer to camp. Also, within the camp - the most well-protected place on FireClan territory - lies the resting place of the ruby and the opal, the Clan's special gemstones. Moderators: RK9, i n h a l e e < 3
FireClan Territory (5 sub-boards) FireClan territory comprises of the two rivers, the woods, and an area above their cave where the apprentices normally go with their mentors for training. FireClan cats have less to worry about from the sky than EarthClan cats do - no, the danger on their territory comes from badgers, and the occasional black bear, though thankfully there aren't that many of those around, and the cats have learned to avoid bears as much as possible. airclan
AirClan Main Camp (8 sub-boards) AirClan has two camps, depending on the season. During the warm season of greenleaf, the river dries up into a mere trickle, and so they need to travel to their campsite by the lake in order to get water for their Clan. This camp is not as secure as their other camp, which they inhabit for the other three seasons, when the river flows again. In leafbare, this side of the mountain gets the most snow, and drifts can get high enough to bury ten cats beneath them - thankfully their dens are set into the rock, in little caves and hollow tree trunks, lined with mossy nests to keep them warm. AirClan Greenleaf Camp (8 sub-boards) This is the camp that AirClan moves to when greenleaf comes along and causes their river to dry up. It is close to the lake, their only other source of water, and the AirClan cats stay here until leaf-fall comes again. Scouts will be sent to check the river-flow, and if it is strong again, the camp will move back to the camp for the next three seasons. AirClan Territory (6 sub-boards) AirClan territory is not as sparse as EarthClan's, nor is it as thickly wooded as FireClan's. The AirClanners pride themselves on having the territory with the best mix, and they spend as much time exploring it and learning more about it - so there's not a part of it that they don't know like the back of their paw. The lake is a beautiful place, though with less cover due to a lack of trees in that are, but its waters are a bountiful place where fish, water voles, water fowl and even ducks, at certain times of the year, can be found. This Clan has chosen to hide its gems in a place between their normal camp and the lake camp, and it is here that the Clan Guardian resides. Moderator: && i l i a d

AirClan Borders (3 sub-boards) FireClan borders this territory to the north, while on the other side lies WaterClan territory. Unknown to WaterClan cats, AirClanners have been known to trepass over sometimes, just to sate their curiosity and explore - though of course, they take every precaution not to get caught, or to raise suspicion or accusation at the Gathering. The FireClan border is harder to trepass, a line of rock that trails down the mountain in a line, a natural border between the two lands. Moderator: && i l i a d
WaterClan Main Camp (8 sub-boards) WaterClan's main camp is located in a secluded area of their territory, a ravine protected by scrub and trees from the elements, and reinforced by the cats with branches and thorns, whatever they can find. Not too far away a large waterfall cascades down into a river that tumbles away down the mountain - the cats have dubbed it the River-fall, and in a way it marks the entrance to their camp, welcoming visitors with the soothing music of water - or intimidating enemies with it frightening roar. WaterClan Territory (5 sub-boards) Well, branching off from the River-fall, are at least two main rivers, and one of them splits further into another two branches that wind down towards the foot of the mountain. The rivers here on this side of the mountain run with faster currents than on the other territories, and so are more treacherous - there have been elders' tales of cats being swept away, never to return - though that may only be to warn the kits away from the rivers. All WaterClan cats love the water, however, and are powerful swimmers, so once they're apprenticed swimming lessons are normally the first order of the day. The forest here is set in sparse clumps throughout the map, with grass and other vegetation clustered near the rivers, where the soil is rich and moist. There is a natural mud-pit on the territory that the apprentices like to gather at, to play or to talk, or even to practice their training without mentors present, but other than that it is just an oddity, though the mud does have interesting healing properties that AirClan cats have long been interested in. Too bad the WaterClan cats will not allow them to enter their territory, and the mud-pit is closer to EarthClan's borders than AirClan's. And near the mud-pit, lies the hiding place where the Clan Guardian watches over the Clan gems, day and night. Moderator: ».TRiPP
WaterClan Borders (3 sub-boards) Bordered by EarthClan to the north and AirClan to the east, WaterClan's territory might seem the smallest, but it has the most sources of water. The only danger would be if the River-fall's source river, which flows just beyond the EarthClan border, were to be cut off - for then all the rivers on WaterClan territory would also die, unable to be fed by the River-fall.
